GIPPSLAND AERONAUTICS GA200 “FATMAN”,

The Ga 200 “Fatman” is a remanufactured, bigger, better version of the Piper Pawnee. This particular aircraft was Australian built in Traralgon, Victoria.

It has a hopper capacity of 800 lts and is powered by a 300 horsepower Lycoming. The main differences between the Fatman and the original Piper Pawnee include an improved aluminium wing, an extra seat for the carriage of a loader driver and an increased hopper capacity of approximately 25 %.

Built in Wichita, Kansas. It has a hopper capacity of 780 and is powered by a 300 horsepower Continental.

Until the introduction of larger capacity gas turbine powered aircraft in the mid 80’s the Cessna was the most common mass produced agricultural aircraft in the world. With literally thousands of these aircraft bulit it was not uncommon spot one of these at low level turning back onto another pass in rural areas throughout the world during the 60’s, 70,s and 80,s. Like all Cessna’s the Agwagon is an absolute delight to fly and operate.

Manufactured in Olney, Texas the AIRTRACTOR AT502B powered by a 780 horsepower Pratt & Whitney PT6-34AG gas turbine engine is arguably the most reliable and productive agricultural aircraft on the market today. Fitted with a 1900 lt hopper allowing us to carry a 47 ha load @40 litres per ha or an 80 Ha load at 20 litres per Ha typically taking 35 minutes to apply.

This aircraft is fitted with a SATLOC GPS and intelliflow flow controller, This system coupled with CP-11TT adjustable angle of attack Carousel Flat Fan nozzles allows us to tailor the droplet size to maximise coverage and adhere to label requirements.
